Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

This page is maintained by EventLoop to describe how we handle information on eventloopco.com. This is our starting policy; we will refine wording with legal counsel before general availability. If you have questions, contact us at contact@eventloopco.com.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, apply to events, submit vendor opportunities, or send messages, we collect the information you provide (name, email, business details, event details, message content, attachments). We also collect basic usage data such as page views and referrers so we can improve the product.

2. How we use information

  • To operate your account, vendor profile, or organizer dashboard.
  • To route applications and messages between vendors and organizers.
  • To send transactional email (verification, password reset, notifications you opted into).
  • To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information you post publicly (e.g., a published vendor profile, a listed opportunity) is visible to anyone who visits that page. Applications and messages are visible only to the parties in that thread and to EventLoop administrators when investigating platform issues.

4. Subprocessors

EventLoop uses Supabase (database, authentication, storage) and standard email delivery infrastructure to operate the service. Each processes data only to provide services to EventLoop.

5. Retention and deletion

You can update or delete account content from your dashboard at any time. To request full account deletion, email contact@eventloopco.com and we will remove your account and associated personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

7. Analytics & error monitoring

We collect a small amount of aggregated usage data to understand how the product is used and to fix bugs. This includes: which pages are visited, which filters and searches are used, which events and vendor profiles are viewed, and coarse role (public, vendor, organizer, admin). We attach a random anonymous identifier stored in your browser — it is not a fingerprint and can be cleared at any time by clearing site data.

We do not record names, email addresses, phone numbers, exact street addresses, message contents, uploaded files, form free-text, passwords, or tokens. We do not run session replay, keystroke recording, or advertising trackers.

When something goes wrong we also record the error and a stack trace to a private log visible only to EventLoop administrators, so we can diagnose and fix issues. Error reports are automatically stripped of sensitive fields (tokens, emails, message bodies) before they are stored.

We respect the browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals — when either is set, analytics and error reporting are disabled for that browser. You can also opt out at any time on this device by running localStorage.setItem('eventloop-analytics-opt-out','1') in your browser console, or by emailing contact@eventloopco.com.

7. Children

EventLoop is intended for users 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
